- Yet another group of leaders has urged Raila Odinga to quit his cause of challenging the election results
- Muslim leaders are now calling on Raila to salvage his political reputation and simply concede defeat as the honorable thing to do,
- Raila and NASA are however moving to the Supreme court to challenge the results

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has received more calls to call down from a rather unique group as the question of the Electoral results transmission bites. Muslim leaders are now calling on Odinga to call it quits on his political career as an away of salvaging his highly esteemed political reputation. The Council of Imams in Mount Kenya urged Raila to simply concede and move on after the IEBC poll results indicated that he had fallen short of the presidency at the fourth attempt.

“We all know Raila was voted by more than 6 million voters. But this should not be a tool to make unconstitutional moves,” One leader urged. The Muslim leaders are the latest stakeholders to pile the pressure on the NASA leader to accept the results which were announced by the IEBC on Friday, August 11.
