NASA Candidature, Raila hails James Orengo

To NASA leader Raila Odinga has hipped praise to the lawyers who argued the presidential petition before the Supreme Court judges that nullified the President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
Raila said that the lawyers led by Siaya Senator James Orengo did their work well.
The NASA leader observed that Mr. Orengo and his colleagues burned had midnight oil to put the petition together and argue it in the court.
He said that the larger NASA family and supporters are proud of the work done by their  lawyers.
“I want to recognize and appreciate the work done by our lawyers led by James Orengo and all others who participated in the petition,” he said as quoted by the Standard.
Raila dedicated the Supreme Court victory to the NASA supporters, saying that the journey to ‘Canaan’ is  still on.
The NASA leader had appealed to supporters and Kenyans to remain calm. He said that NASA will hit the campaigning road running, adding that he will win in the fresh presidential election with wide margin.

Raila, however, said that NASA will only participate in the fresh presidential election only if IEBC is well ‘cleaned’.
The NASA leader named several IEBC officers who he allegedly they conspired to bungle the August.
The Supreme Court led by Justice David Maraga on Friday court has since nullified the President Uhuru Kenyatta's  re-election and ordered for fresh presidential election to be conducted in within 60 days

Yet another IEBC official killed, dumped near her home.

- Police are currently investigating the death of an IEBC Presiding Officer who was murdered. - The officer was killed and the body dumped near her home in Ugenya.  - The officer was a teacher. Police are investigating the death of an Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) officer who was killed and dumped near her home in Ugenya, Siaya County. The six Supreme Court judges that will decide who won between the duo i.e Uhuru and Raila (photos)

- Raila Odinga has decided to go to the Supreme Court to contest President Uhuru Kenyata's win.  - He will meet a full bench of seven Supreme Court judges where he will argue his case.  - The petition is supposed to be heard in 14 days time as stipulated in the Constitution. Raila Odinga will after all go to the Supreme Court to contest President Uhuru Kenyatta's win even after vowing never to take his case there. The court has seven judges who sit in it to listen to cases of high magnitude like a presidential petition among others. The Supreme Court is headed by the Chief Justice who is its president and is mandated by law to hear the petition in 14 days.
